Community guidelines
Seven simple rules that keep FRAME worth visiting.
FRAME works because members look out for each other. These guidelines apply to posts, replies, product listings, messages, and profiles. Breaking them can lead to removed content, closed threads, or a banned account — depending on severity and history.
Be kind and constructive
Treat every member with respect. Disagree with ideas, never attack people. No harassment, hate speech, or personal insults — first offense gets a warning, repeated behavior gets a ban.
No spam or flooding
Do not post the same thread in multiple categories, bump old threads without adding value, or drop promotional links where they do not belong. One clear post beats ten noisy ones.
Share original, honest content
Post things you made or have the right to share. Give credit when you remix someone else's work. Fake download links, password scams, and malware get you banned on the spot — no warnings.
Product post rules
Product posts must describe what the buyer actually gets. Mark free products as Free, keep buy links working, and update the post status to Closed if the product stops working. Refund disputes with external checkouts are between you and the seller.
Locked content rules
Locked items must deliver what the lock promises once unlocked. Do not lock empty or misleading content to farm likes and comments — moderators treat that as spam.
Report, do not retaliate
See something wrong? Report it and move on. Public call-out threads and revenge downvoting make moderation harder. Reports are reviewed by moderators, usually within a day.
Moderation and bans
Moderators can close, pin, or remove threads and resolve reports. Admins can ban accounts that break these guidelines. Bans can be appealed through the Help page — be polite and specific about what happened.
